Smart Fire Inspection Management System User Guide

Currently, paper-based fire inspection cards are commonly used for routine fire facility inspections. This method has the following issues:

  1. Paper inspection cards often suffer from non-standard writing and illegible handwriting. Over time, these cards can become damp, moldy, and difficult to archive for long-term preservation.
  2. During inspections, personnel may miss certain fire facilities, particularly fire extinguishers and hydrants. Sometimes, inspections are conducted beyond the scheduled period, making it challenging to provide timely reminders for upcoming inspections.
  3. With a large number of fire facilities on site (e.g., 224 indoor hydrants and 376 fire extinguisher boxes, totaling 600 units), managers spend excessive time and effort reviewing inspection results. Comprehensive monthly inspections and three-tier inspections are difficult to implement.
  4. When defects or issues are identified in fire facilities, the feedback process is complex, and records of replacements or repairs cannot be updated in real time.
  5. False or overdue inspections cannot be fundamentally eliminated.

In response to the new safety management requirements set by the group company, the Fengyuan Phase II project team proactively adopted an innovative approach. By leveraging additive thinking, mobile internet, and cloud technology, they developed a smart fire facility inspection management system that addresses all the above issues, achieving digital and intelligent fire management inspections.

Specific Measures:

  1. Implement a one-code-per-item management system for all fire facilities. Each device's QR code contains exclusive information such as name, location, model, specifications, responsible personnel, contact details, inspection content, inspection records, and maintenance records. Users can scan the code to view all specific information:

Usage Instructions:

  1. The management system is integrated into a WeChat Mini Program. Information feedback and communication are disseminated through WeChat, and managers can also receive relevant information via SMS.
  2. Inspection personnel arrive at the device location and perform the corresponding checks. After inspection, they open WeChat's scan feature, scan the QR code on the device to access the main interface, and fill in the inspection record.

  1. Based on pre-set inspection items, personnel check and fill in each item for the fire facility. If any abnormalities are found, they can take photos, provide explanations, and submit the exception. The status of the fire facility will automatically update to "abnormal."
