How to Apply QR Codes for Tree and Sapling Management

Original: https://cli.im/article/detail/1898

Management Methods for Sapling QR Codes

Based on data filled in daily projects, perform data statistics in the workbench.

  1. Ginkgo Management Example: Encode each plot, using only one QR code per plot for Ginkgo. This includes recording the number of deciduous trees, ground cover plants, and flowering shrubs in that plot.
  2. Execution Timing: For completed construction sites, follow the as-built drawings to schedule and monitor watering times and pest control measures.
  3. New Construction Sites: First, assign codes and numbers. Then segment the area, assigning one code for every 100 meters of street trees. Record the number, planting, and maintenance status of each tree.

QR Code Management Implementation Plan

  1. Hang identification plates on saplings by area. Use cards produced by printing shops, fastened with iron wire to the first and last saplings in the area.

  1. Manage saplings within the area using numbered plates. Input statistical information for each sapling into the identification plates and affix them to various saplings using iron nails.

  1. Maintenance personnel scan the code with their mobile phones, and information as shown below appears:

  1. Click "Fill in Maintenance Record" to log maintenance information.

  1. Managers query sapling maintenance information in the workbench.

  1. Big data analysis of sapling maintenance status. Supervise and inspect daily maintenance conditions, and trace and correct any anomalies.

Plan Execution Process

  1. Explanation: The execution plan specifies one dedicated maintenance code per plot, with the rest being display QR codes.
  2. Principles: Easy statistics, simple maintenance execution, clear display.
  3. Process: [Engineering Staff] provide Sapling Information and Quantities → [IT Staff] create QR Codes and Management Forms → [Design Staff] Design Identification Plates → [Maintenance Team] Hang Plates → [Maintenance Team] Scan Codes and Fill in Data → [IT Staff] Receive Feedback in Workbench → [Engineering Management Center] Receive Information → Report and Formulate Correction Plans in Regular Meetings.
