Using QR Codes to Implement a Real-Name Registration and Attendance System for Construction Site Personnel

It is my great honor to serve as an industry consultant for CaoLiao QR Code and share with you how I use the CaoLiao QR Code platform to solve practical problems encountered in my work—specifically, the practical application of "CaoLiao QR Code" in municipal engineering.

This article will explain how to use QR codes to achieve personnel registration and project attendance management in building construction, as well as real-name registration for workers at large municipal construction sites, item issuance, safety education briefings, complaint feedback, and other scenarios.

Discovering CaoLiao

When the COVID-19 outbreak occurred, our company was tasked with the critical responsibility of constructing Huoshenshan Hospital and various makeshift hospitals in Wuhan. I was fortunate to participate in these efforts. By mid-March, in response to requirements from various levels of authorities, we began preparing for the resumption of work and production. However, the pandemic was far from over. A major challenge for our project was how to effectively implement epidemic prevention measures during the resumption process and ensure the enforcement of the "Real-Name Management" system scheduled to take effect in May.

Under the circumstances at the time, implementing the relevant system required workers to sign their names on the same piece of paper using pen and ink. However, in the context of March, any physical contact risked spreading the virus if even one COVID-19 infected individual was present. As a solution, we turned to CaoLiao QR Code for contactless registration via QR code scanning.

During its use, we discovered that CaoLiao not only addressed epidemic registration challenges but also provided a solution for real-name management of migrant workers.
