During the QR code creation process, showcasing corporate identity on labels often requires adding elements like corporate backgrounds, project backgrounds, product images, or event pictures. CaoLiao provides a label background image feature that supports uploading local backgrounds and online image editing. It also includes a color overlay function, making the overall label appearance more unified and visually appealing.

Uploading Project Images ​

  • Equipment signs used in engineering projects can highlight the project's image by uploading project pictures as backgrounds.
  • For unit acceptance signs displaying property overviews, upload aerial views of the building or developer renderings.
  • Fixed asset labels used internally within a company can upload project images to emphasize corporate identity.

Upload elements related to the enterprise, products, activities, scenic spots, or equipment as background images.

  • Inspection QR code signs for equipment can upload equipment-related pictures.
  • Posters for event registrations or exam sign-ups can upload venue pictures or event theme images.

How to Set Up ​

Setting the Label Background Image ​

Enter the label style editor, click [Upload Local] under the Label Background option on the left to upload a background image. For detailed steps, refer to the Label Background Setup Tutorial.

CaoLiao also provides a pre-set library of background images. Select as needed and click [Background Library] to use.

Setting Background Color Overlay ​

When uploading complex backgrounds like project photos, landscape images, or product pictures, text may overlap with the background, making it hard to read and affecting the label's aesthetics and overall unity. The background overlay feature enhances color consistency, highlights text content for easier reading, improves label appearance, and showcases corporate identity.

The system automatically extracts relevant colors from your uploaded background image for the overlay color. It also supports color palette selection and custom overlay opacity. The background overlay offers two effects: area fill and full coverage, selectable based on actual needs.

Canva Advanced Backgrounds ​

Some styles support advanced background images, allowing online editing in Canva with advanced operations like adjusting element colors and positions. Click [Canva Advanced Backgrounds] in the background library to use this feature. For detailed steps, refer to the Label Background Setup Tutorial.
