Haishiwan Coal Mine: Promoting QR Code Applications to Strengthen the Safety Protection Network

Original: https://cli.im/article/detail/2368

Haishiwan Coal Mine is a key production mine of Yaojie Coal and Electricity Group Co., Ltd. It is renowned for its high-quality weakly caking coal, characterized by low ash, extra-low sulfur, low phosphorus, oil content, and medium-to-high calorific value. The calorific value remains stable between 22–32 MJ/kg, averaging around 27 MJ/kg, making it highly suitable as a raw material for coking blends and power/chemical applications. The mine has received numerous industry accolades, including the Safety and High-Efficiency Mine (Top Grade) and the Double Top Ten Mines awards from the China National Coal Association.

To enhance work efficiency and transition safety production management from traditional "human defense" to "intelligent defense," Haishiwan Coal Mine utilized the CaoLiao QR Code platform to develop a "Safety Management System QR Code," officially launched on March 14. This system covers 24 items across five major sections: daily safety management priorities, dynamic management requirements for safety production standardization, reporting of unsafe behaviors and "three violations" (violations of regulations, commands, and labor discipline), reporting of abnormal situations, and various safety management materials within the area.

During underground inspections, managers at all levels can simply scan the QR codes with their mobile WeChat app to access important safety management materials for the specific area. This makes on-site safety production management more transparent and visible, while safety inspection work becomes more standardized and efficient.

Furthermore, by implementing the "Safety Management System QR Code," staff can promptly upload relevant test results, track and rectify identified issues in a timely manner, and strengthen the supervision and management of unsafe behaviors. This ensures the effective implementation of daily safety management tasks, helps prevent safety incidents at the source, greatly facilitates managers' closed-loop control over safety issues in various areas, prevents the recurrence of problems, effectively reduces management costs, and improves work efficiency.
