CaoLiao QR Codes Provided Technical Support for the Beijing Winter Olympics

On February 4th, it was reported that Ningbo Linjia Network Technology Co., Ltd., a company based in Haishu District, Ningbo, provided technical support for the nucleic acid testing registration process for spectators in the Chaoyang District, one of the main competition venues for the Winter Olympics. Leveraging its self-developed CaoLiao QR Code system, the company offered comprehensive technical assistance, contributing the "Haishu wisdom" to the smooth operation of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Ningbo Linjia Network Technology Co., Ltd. is a technology enterprise specializing in providing cloud services for QR codes. During the initial outbreak of the pandemic in early 2020, the company launched epidemic prevention and control QR codes, which were widely adopted across the country. These QR codes assisted in community health campaigns, epidemic statistics, and significantly reduced the risks associated with contact-based registration for community workers.
The Winter Olympics involved a large number of participants and a substantial workload for testing, placing high demands on both technology and efficiency. "It is understood that the Chaoyang District had previously tested mainstream nucleic acid testing registration tools multiple times, but the results were unsatisfactory. Later, upon the recommendation of a partner in Beijing, our 'CaoLiao QR Code' came to their attention," said a representative from Linjia Network Technology.
After understanding the requirements and usage scenarios, Linjia Network Technology developed a system tailored for nucleic acid registration within two days, based on the existing features of the CaoLiao QR Code platform. This system allowed residents to fill in their personal information independently, and with the generated serial numbers and QR codes, they could proceed with nucleic acid testing. "Tests showed that compared to other technical solutions, the 'CaoLiao QR Code' improved registration efficiency by at least five times. It operated efficiently, maintained order on-site, and provided a better experience for residents," the representative added. After several days of intensive testing involving approximately 100,000 people daily, the "CaoLiao QR Code" stood out with its robust technology and became one of the technical support providers for nucleic acid testing at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
To ensure effective service support for the Winter Olympics, Linjia Network Technology formed a dedicated team to provide software technical support. They also built a dedicated database based on the actual needs of the Chaoyang District and continuously optimized data compliance and operational processes. This resulted in an efficient workflow suitable for residents undergoing testing, testing personnel, and backend management.
Throughout this process, a series of technical challenges were overcome, providing a more solid technical foundation for the smooth execution of the Beijing Winter Olympics. "Nucleic acid testing often uses 10-in-1 or 20-in-1 pooling methods, requiring testing personnel to quickly bind test samples to resident information. To address this, we assigned a unique serial number and QR code to each resident. Testing personnel could quickly input information by scanning the resident's QR code with their mobile phones," the representative explained. Additionally, the resident's unique serial number was linked to the reagent number. If any test results were abnormal, testing personnel could quickly retrieve relevant information via the reagent number to facilitate follow-up actions. Furthermore, considering system load capacity, Linjia Network Technology significantly expanded server resources and designed contingency plans to ensure stable system operation even under extreme circumstances.
