New Version Hazardous Waste Label Production Guide

On July 1, 2023, the "HJ1276-2022 Technical Specification for Setting Hazardous Waste Identification Signs" formulated by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment officially came into effect. Relevant units must set up hazardous waste identification signs according to the regulations, which explicitly stipulate that the new version of hazardous waste labels must include a digital identification code and a QR code to achieve "one item, one code" management for hazardous waste. Many users have provided feedback in the CaoLiao community, hoping to add hazardous waste labels and templates that comply with the new regulations. After our product managers assessed the demand, they promptly followed up and launched a series of hazardous waste label styles and hazardous waste label templates. These allow for direct import of Excel data to generate a large number of hazardous waste labels with QR codes in one go.
Production Methods
Currently, two types of bulk QR code generation methods are provided, which can be selected based on requirements.
1. Bulk QR Code Generation Using Templates
A "Hazardous Waste Label" template has been added to the CaoLiao QR Code template library. Simply upload or fill in the detailed information of the hazardous waste to batch generate labels containing QR codes. No self-design or layout is required. Scanning the code allows viewing of content such as the hazardous waste name, category, collecting unit, and precautions.

Note: You can enter relevant keywords in the template library's search box to view more templates shared by users. Alternatively, modify the template by adding modules like forms or status to build a simple hazardous waste management system.
2. Bulk Generation of Hazardous Waste Labels
If you already have a hazardous waste management system, you can export the basic information of the hazardous waste from the existing system, such as code content, hazardous waste name, category, code, form, main components, etc. Then, select the corresponding hazardous waste label style and import the Excel spreadsheet to batch generate hazardous waste labels.

Note: Label styles for hazardous waste storage, utilization, and treatment facility signs are still under development. It is recommended to generate the QR code first, print it, and then affix it to the hazardous waste signboard.
Operation Tutorial
1. Select the Corresponding Template for Bulk Production
Filter label styles or hazardous waste label templates based on your needs. Choose the bulk QR code generation method. You can fill in data via an online spreadsheet or upload an Excel file to produce labels in bulk. View Tutorial
2. Modify the Template as Needed
Fields, colors, icons, backgrounds, and other aspects of the label style can be modified. View Tutorial
The display content, style, forms, status, and other elements within the hazardous waste label template all support custom editing. They can also be modified at any later stage. After modification, the sub-codes under the template will update synchronously, allowing for adjustments as needed. View Tutorial
3. Bulk Download and Print
CaoLiao provides print files in various formats, including PNG, A4, and PDF. You can use an A4 printer for quick printing. For higher durability, they can be placed in waterproof plastic bags or laminated. Alternatively, download the files and provide them to an advertising company for printing on adhesive stickers. 4. Bulk Addition and Management
You can reuse the template at any time on the template details page to add a new batch of hazardous waste labels with the same structure. You can also batch update label content, download labels for reprinting, and perform batch management.
