QR Codes and NFC Digital Namecards Launched for Port Machinery Equipment at Beilunshan Operations Division

Recently, to further enhance the efficiency of port equipment management and improve the informatization and digitalization level of equipment management, the Beilunshan Operations Division has launched QR codes and NFC digital namecards for 11 large machines and 3 substations. These store equipment-related information and status in the cloud, enabling inspectors, drivers, technicians, and others to conveniently check equipment conditions, access equipment information, and report equipment faults via their mobile phones at any time.
1. QR Codes and NFC Digital Namecards
The QR codes and NFC digital namecards are primarily located at the ladder entrances and driver cabins of large mechanical equipment, making them easily accessible for drivers and equipment inspectors.
2. Scan the QR Code or Tap the NFC Tag via WeChat
After scanning, the displayed content includes: the "Beilunshan Equipment Management" WeChat Official Account, equipment operational status, latest records, an entry point for filling out equipment inspection forms, basic equipment information, relevant equipment documents, equipment photos, etc. All of this content can be added, modified, or updated in the backend at any time.
3. Backend Data Management
By accessing the backend management system via mobile phone or computer, users can not only maintain and manage the digital namecards and data information of the equipment but also view statistics such as the number of QR codes, scan counts, recorded data, and equipment status. Additionally, data can be exported to Excel spreadsheets, facilitating equipment fault data analysis. This new approach replaces the previous manual, one-by-one data entry method, significantly improving the efficiency of equipment management tasks.
4. Integration with WeChat Official Account
The equipment QR codes and NFC digital namecards are integrated with internet products such as the "Beilunshan Equipment Management" WeChat Official Account. This integration allows equipment management personnel to view information and status related to Beilunshan equipment via their mobile phones at any time.
Port intelligence is a major direction for port development, which requires our technical personnel to be adept at utilizing new technological means, such as cloud services and big data, to enhance work efficiency. This project was implemented at almost zero cost and serves as an excellent reference, worthy of widespread promotion among sister units.
