Comprehensive Mobilization and Responsibility Reinforcement
The Urban Management Center organized four thematic meetings on building a model civilized city in urban management and conducted extensive inspections in preparation for evaluations. Adopting a "go out and implement" approach, leaders led joint inspections with urban management, law enforcement, and community representatives to address key and difficult issues. Critical areas such as surroundings of farmers' markets, backstreets, and old residential communities were assigned specific personnel, fixed points, and clear responsibilities for continuous patrols. Using the "CaoLiao QR Code" method, issues were shared in real-time with the community, requiring relevant units to rectify them within deadlines. Approximately 5,000 issues have been resolved cumulatively.

Targeted Breakthroughs and Comprehensive Support
The Urban Management Center established four field inspection teams to conduct full-coverage inspections of sanitation blind spots and environmental hygiene in key areas for city creation, based on established standards. A comprehensive spot-check of 40 communities identified over 455 issues, urging communities to learn from examples and implement broad rectifications. Concurrently, garbage clearance in backstreets was enhanced, with special attention to unmanaged roads. Over 4,080 street cleaning personnel were deployed, along with approximately 570 excavators, loaders, and dump trucks, clearing about 2,800 cubic meters of waste.

Focus on Waste Sorting to Support City Creation
To promote household waste classification and implement municipal and district requirements, the Urban Management Center strengthened communication with communities and property service enterprises. It formulated the "Work Method for Establishing Incentive Mechanisms for Enclosed Waste Disposal Points" to encourage the construction of enclosed waste sorting stations. So far, 18 timed and fixed-point waste collection stations have been completed in communities such as Shengshi Jiangshan, Guanhaiyuan, Tianfuyuan, and Wujiazhuang. To raise residents' awareness, the center intensified publicity efforts, organizing 75 waste sorting promotion events with party members and volunteers, distributing over 50,000 leaflets. In collaboration with law enforcement teams, inspections were conducted at 182 catering establishments, leading to on-site rectification of 62 non-compliant sorting facilities and the signing of 98 food waste clearance agreements.

Enhancements and Environmental Improvements
The center urged maintenance units to enhance greening efforts for street trees and green spaces. Replanting was carried out on nine major roads, including Wutaishan Road, Qichangcheng Road, and Wuyishan Road, with 2,850 holly and purple-leaf barberry plants, 1,940 photinia, 140 holly balls, 1,660 privets, and 11,500 square meters of lilyturf. Approximately 8,000 meters of hedges were trimmed on roads like Fenjin Road, Xiangjiang Road, Lushan Road, and Huangpujiang Road, and about 390 tons of waste were cleared from green spaces. Each management district conducted detailed inspections of road and sidewalk damages and missing greenery, identifying over 290 issues and addressing more than 30. Further repairs and systematic resolutions will continue. The Urban Management Center will leverage the national model civilized city creation initiative to tangibly resolve residents' congestion, difficulties, and pain points, enhancing satisfaction through concrete results.
