To effectively improve residential living environments and facilitate the establishment of a national model civilized city, the Urban Management Center of the subdistrict has implemented focused measures on key locations and critical issues, driving comprehensive improvements through targeted solutions.
Full Mobilization & Accountability Reinforcement
The Urban Management Center organized 4 special meetings on civilized city creation initiatives and conducted large-scale inspections across urban management areas. Through joint inspections with urban management teams, law enforcement personnel, and community leaders, the center identified critical issues in key areas such as farmers' markets, backstreets, and old residential communities. By implementing a "fixed personnel, fixed locations, fixed responsibilities" approach, staff conducted continuous patrols using the CaoLiao QR code system to share identified issues with communities in real-time. This system has facilitated time-bound rectification of over 5,000 issues.
Targeted Solutions & Comprehensive Support
Four specialized inspection teams were deployed to conduct full-day inspections of sanitation conditions in 40 communities, identifying 455+ issues requiring systematic rectification. Simultaneously, waste removal operations cleared 2,800+ cubic meters of garbage from backstreets and unmanaged roads, mobilizing 4,080 sanitation workers and 570+ vehicle trips including excavators and dump trucks.
Waste Sorting Advancement
To implement municipal waste sorting requirements, the center collaborated with communities and property management companies to establish 18 timed waste collection points in residential areas including Shengshi Jiangshan, Guanhaiyuan, Tianfuyuan, and Wujiazhuang. Public awareness campaigns organized 75 educational events distributing 50,000+ informational materials. Law enforcement teams inspected 182 catering establishments, rectifying 62 improper sorting facilities and signing 98 food waste disposal agreements.
Environmental Enhancement Initiatives
Greening projects along 9 major roads planted 2,850 holly and purple-leaf barberry shrubs, 1,940 photinia plants, 140 holly trees, 1,660 privet plants, and 11,500㎡ of liriope grass. Maintenance teams trimmed 8,000m of hedges and removed 390 tons of green space waste. Road and sidewalk repairs addressed 290+ identified issues, with 30+ already completed. These efforts aim to resolve persistent urban management challenges and enhance resident satisfaction through tangible improvements.
