Small QR Codes Innovate Access to Toll Policy Documents

Jingdezhen Management Center's Toll Operations Department, in collaboration with Jingdezhen North Toll Station, has optimized document management using QR code technology. Frontline toll staff can now scan designated QR codes using work mobile devices to quickly access relevant regulatory documents, significantly improving operational efficiency.

To address challenges in paper-based document management such as time-consuming retrieval and preservation difficulties, the department implemented a QR code data platform. Toll-related regulations are systematically categorized into two groups:

  1. Public Toll Policies (green QR code): Contains 14 categories of publicly accessible documents including vehicle classification standards, toll rates, overweight regulations, and green channel policies.
  2. Internal Management Documents (red QR code): Includes 5 categories of internal operational guidelines from the Ministry of Transport, Provincial Departments, Group Companies, Road Network Authorities, and Jingdezhen Center.

This color-coded system enables both staff and drivers to efficiently resolve disputes by scanning the appropriate QR code for instant verification of toll policies.

Jingdezhen North Toll Station further enhanced efficiency by integrating the QR code platform with WeCom (WeChat Enterprise Edition). Staff can now perform keyword searches within the enterprise platform for real-time document retrieval, streamlining workflow processes.
