Entering the production workshop of Guyuan Uranium Industry, you'll notice small QR code labels on the equipment. "By scanning with WeChat on our phones, we can see options such as the equipment name, specifications, model, responsible person, equipment repair requests, daily inspection records, and lubrication records," explained a technician conducting equipment inspections. "After selecting an inspection task, we take photos and upload them, allowing equipment managers to monitor the operational status of each device. Since implementing these QR codes, we've become much more meticulous in our inspections. It's genuinely beneficial for the equipment—any minor fault is addressed at its earliest stage!"

As early as March 2022, Guyuan Uranium Industry introduced QR codes into its equipment management practices. Through continuous optimization and improvements, the number of scans for equipment management has now exceeded 410,000. Operators, users, and equipment managers regularly scan the codes to upload data related to equipment operation, maintenance, repairs, and faults. This allows equipment managers to dynamically monitor the condition of each device in real-time through the backend system. The accumulated data and images have become a "live" archive for equipment management, providing valuable support for predicting faults, selecting models, updating equipment, and phasing out obsolete machinery.

In the next phase, Guyuan Uranium Industry plans to further enhance the equipment QR codes by promptly updating information on wearable parts and equipment structure diagrams during maintenance. The company aims to integrate multiple tasks through QR codes, achieving scientific and networked equipment management. QR codes are expected to play an even greater role in equipment management, contributing significantly to the company's informatization efforts.
