Asset QR Code Tags Provide Comprehensive Asset Information

The Fund Settlement Department staff noticed new QR code tags on computer hosts. A simple WeChat scan instantly displays all relevant device information on mobile screens.
Following year-end closing, the department conducted a week-long asset verification campaign, systematically checking computer equipment status, storage locations, custodians, and related information.
Compared with traditional methods requiring new label printing for information updates, IT specialist Chen Xiaofeng proposed an innovative solution: "Why not leverage QR code technology for asset tagging?" Traditional labels had limitations:
- Restricted content capacity
- Required physical replacement for any information updates
The QR code solution enables backend updates without replacing physical tags.
IT engineer Yang Yang implemented this by creating structured templates and generating asset QR codes. Colleagues affixed the new tags to computer fronts, joking: "Our devices now have digital ID cards!"
