"Is the lifting motor of this equipment functioning properly?" "It's been inspected, everything is normal. You can scan this QR code to view all maintenance records for this equipment." Recently, the Equipment and Machinery Leasing Center introduced equipment maintenance QR codes, allowing maintenance and inspection personnel to understand the operational status of equipment by scanning the QR codes.

The equipment maintenance QR code serves as a unique "ID card" assigned by project managers to each piece of equipment. Managers input the equipment's basic information and maintenance records into an electronic system, generate a QR code, and affix it to the exterior of the equipment for easy scanning by relevant personnel.

This equipment maintenance QR code has four main functions: data storage, equipment safety inspections, equipment maintenance record entry, and maintenance record tracking. Maintenance personnel can scan the QR code to access the equipment maintenance mini-program, where they can upload real-time photos of the equipment with time and location watermarks and enter specific details about inspections and maintenance. Project managers can scan the QR code to review maintenance information, summarize the equipment's operational status, and perform systematic analysis.

The Equipment and Machinery Leasing Center currently manages 68 sets of equipment, 61 of which are in operation. All 61 operational sets are equipped with maintenance QR codes.

In addition to the four main functions for standard equipment, the Leasing Center has tailored the system to the production characteristics of mixing stations by adding six specific functions: mixer safety inspections, distribution cabinet inspections, area safety inspections, maintenance records, fire extinguisher inspections, and sanitation checks. This enhances the practicality of equipment maintenance and ensures comprehensive coverage of maintenance and repair records.

Compared to traditional standalone paper records, the use of equipment maintenance QR codes offers three key advantages: authenticity, real-time updates, and convenience. When maintenance personnel submit safety inspection reports or real-time maintenance data, they must pass identity verification by the project department, which prevents data falsification at the source. Additionally, maintenance personnel can upload operational records in real time by scanning the QR code, ensuring the timeliness and authenticity of the information. Moreover, scanning the QR code allows for instant access to equipment inspection information, eliminating the time and location constraints of reviewing paper records and reducing resource consumption and clutter associated with physical documents.

The implementation of equipment maintenance QR codes brings multiple benefits: First, it helps maintenance personnel understand the operational status of equipment, effectively addressing inefficiencies caused by dispersed equipment and saving time and labor costs. Second, it enables managers to comprehensively grasp equipment maintenance and operational status, eliminating potential safety hazards during equipment operation. Third, it allows the company to stay informed about equipment information and operational status in a timely manner, promoting the development of a material and equipment management system. Fourth, it facilitates the establishment of fixed asset records, ensuring the preservation of state-owned assets.
