Xinfeng Thermal Power Advances Equipment QR Code Labeling Initiative

Recently, the company's Equipment Department has been actively advancing the first phase of the equipment QR code labeling initiative in accordance with the group company's document requirements. This effort aims to further enhance the intelligent safety management of on-site equipment and effectively improve the work efficiency of operational and maintenance personnel.

This initiative is divided into three phases. The first phase involves implementing QR code labels for all 6KV and above equipment, as well as major 380V equipment, with completion scheduled by the end of this year.

Currently, IT personnel are making full use of QR code editing software to conduct repeated tests, ultimately achieving functionalities such as data entry and storage. The process begins with collecting equipment data provided by various department heads. After verification by IT staff, the data is manually entered entry by entry, categorized by specialty. The entered content includes the name, number, parameters, operation, and maintenance information of the equipment involved in the production site. This software allows for online addition, deletion, and modification of relevant information. Through the collaborative efforts of department heads and IT personnel, independent QR codes have now been generated for each entered piece of equipment. These QR codes are then organized, printed, cut, laminated, and finally distributed to the respective department personnel to be affixed to the corresponding equipment. To date, data provided by the turbine, boiler, electrical, and desulfurization departments has been entered, resulting in the generation of 80 equipment QR codes. The first phase of the work is ongoing.

Management, operational, and maintenance personnel from various departments can use the WeChat "Scan" feature to immediately display the equipment's relevant information on their mobile phones. This gives these previously "silent" electrical equipment intelligent attributes, providing them with their own "electronic ID cards." It also reduces the steps required for verifying equipment parameters and searching for manuals, making usage more convenient and efficient. The second and third phases of the work will follow closely. This initiative will further enhance the精细化 (refined) management level of equipment and effectively prevent the occurrence of unsafe incidents.
