Xinfeng Thermal Power Advances Equipment QR Code Identification Project

Recently, the Equipment Department has been actively implementing the first phase of equipment QR code identification in accordance with group company requirements, aiming to enhance intelligent safety management of field equipment and improve operational/maintenance efficiency.

The project consists of three phases. The first phase involves implementing QR code identification for all 6KV and above equipment, along with major 380V equipment, with completion scheduled by year-end.

Currently, IT personnel have conducted extensive testing with QR code editing software to achieve data entry and storage functions. The workflow includes:

  1. Collecting equipment data from technical supervisors
  2. Manual entry verification by IT personnel
  3. Creating unique QR codes containing equipment details (name, ID, parameters, maintenance records)
  4. Batch processing QR codes (sorting, printing, laminating)
  5. Distributing codes to departments for equipment labeling

To date, data from turbine, boiler, electrical, and desulfurization systems have been processed, generating 80 equipment QR codes. Phase 1 implementation continues as scheduled.

Personnel from management, operations, and maintenance departments can now scan these "electronic ID cards" via WeChat to instantly access:

  • Equipment specifications
  • Operational parameters
  • Maintenance manuals
  • Technical documentation

This innovation eliminates manual parameter verification and document retrieval processes, significantly improving work efficiency. Subsequent phases will further enhance equipment management precision and prevent safety incidents.
