Cangba Highway Construction Project Innovates with "One Helmet, One Code" Safety Initiative

To welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 12th Provincial Party Congress, and to support high-quality development with a high level of safety, the Cangba Highway Construction Project has innovatively implemented the "One Helmet, One Code" safety initiative.

Recently, at the Cangxi construction site of the Cangba Project managed by China Railway 15th Bureau Group Third Engineering Co., Ltd., a small but eye-catching QR code has been added to the safety helmets of every frontline worker. This "special identifier," containing the real and complete information for each position, has become a new trend on the construction site.

Before workers begin their shifts, they often hear the team leader's clear and loud reminder: "Before entering the site, consciously prioritize safety. Please ensure everyone wears the safety helmet with the QR code attached!" Frontline workers vividly describe it: "This QR code on the safety helmet is our safety 'ID card'." The QR code pasted on each worker's helmet by the project department contains comprehensive information. Management personnel can simply scan the QR code with a mobile phone to access details such as the worker's name, company, hometown, trade, contact information, job risks, and safety operating procedures. The QR code also dynamically updates information like safety technical briefings and education/training records in real-time. The QR code functions like a mobile safety manual and knowledge database, truly enabling workers to carry, check, and view safety knowledge anytime, anywhere.

Since resuming work after the Spring Festival holiday, the Cangba Highway Project Department of China Railway 15th Bureau Group Third Engineering Co., Ltd. has adopted "QR code applications" as a key method for managing frontline operator safety, implementing the "One Helmet, One Code" real-name system with notable results. Workers feel more secure while performing their duties, reviewing safety knowledge daily, improving their safety skills bit by bit, and reducing potential hazards each day. Safety management personnel can dynamically monitor work conditions and check safety knowledge status at any time, providing strong support for the project department's targeted control and precise management of frontline workers.
