The Nanjing Yizheng Factory is located in Gongwei Village, Yizheng Development Zone, covering an area of over 120 acres with a total construction area of 39,000 m². The building stands 9 stories above ground, reaching a height of 31.8 meters, and features a frame-shear wall structure. The factory is equipped with two internationally top-tier fully automated standard component production lines and one domestically leading specialized component production line. Additionally, the facility houses two world-class LIERHERR fully enclosed environmentally friendly concrete mixing stations. Upon full operation, the factory will produce 300,000 m³ of prefabricated components and supporting parts annually. Its product range includes double-sided composite shear walls, single-sided composite shear walls (with insulation), composite slabs, composite beams, staircases, balconies, air conditioning panels, bay windows, and sink modules, meeting the construction needs for 2 million m² of building space. The SEPC engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contracts amount to 8 billion yuan, with the factory's output value reaching 900 million yuan, totaling 8.9 billion yuan. This initiative is expected to create employment for 4,000 to 5,000 local residents. Currently, the main structure of the project's comprehensive building has been topped out, and the factory building is in the steel structure construction phase, with operations scheduled to commence in October 2019.
The project strictly adheres to the company's standardized construction requirements, prioritizing modular and reusable facilities for gates, edge protection, and zonal segregation. "Beyond implementing conventional safety management standards, the Yizheng Factory began innovating as early as October last year by creating a 'Quality and Safety Management QR Code Information Wall.' With a simple scan, details on quality management, safety management, progress management, and cost management are instantly displayed on the screen, clearly and concisely, with real-time updates provided weekly," explained Project Manager Wei Chao. "This is a pioneering initiative among the dozens of factory projects undertaken by Meihao Prefabricated Construction Company."
To innovate safety education methods and enable resource sharing, the Yizheng Project closely integrates safety education with labor real-name registration and safety assessments, thereby enhancing management efficiency. The project established a Safety and Civilized Construction Leadership Group, with the project manager as the primary responsible person, overseeing the organization, implementation, and achievement of goals for civilized and green construction. Dedicated personnel monitor progress, clarify responsibilities, and ensure all measures are effectively executed.
Thanks to its advanced and standardized safety and quality management, the Yizheng Project has attracted over 30 construction companies, totaling more than 200 visitors, for观摩 (observation and learning) sessions led by the Yizheng Economic Development Zone since its commencement.
Safety is the lifeblood of an enterprise, and standardization is its soul. The development of standardized safety production is a long-term, systematic endeavor. The Prefabricated Construction Headquarters will continue to advance safety standardization, further regulate the safety behaviors of personnel, enhance refinement and informatization levels, and strengthen the investigation and management of various potential hazards. Using the Yizheng Project as a benchmark, the company aims to drive high-level construction across other projects, achieving standardization and uniformity.
