Cangzhou Yangcheng Reservoir: Creating Inspection "QR Codes" to Empower Safety Management

To ensure the effectiveness of levee safety inspections and continuously enhance safety management capabilities, the Yangcheng Reservoir Management Office of Cangzhou Water Supply and Drainage Company has actively explored new models of information-based safety management. They have introduced a new mechanism called "Grid Management QR Code Inspection for Levees," pushing safety management to a new level.

The Yangcheng Reservoir levee is divided into 36 responsibility areas, with each area equipped with a grid inspection card bearing a unique QR code. The card includes modules such as the area scope, facility identification number, facility operational status, dynamic facility records, inspection logs, maintenance records, and responsible personnel information.

Inspectors are required to patrol their assigned levee sections at least twice a month. By scanning the QR code, they can fill out inspection records, including inspection results, descriptions, on-site photos, problem location positioning, and inspector signatures. Maintenance personnel, upon receiving alerts about abnormal inspection results via the workbench, promptly initiate repairs. They also scan the QR code to log details such as repair outcomes, maintenance content, on-site repair photos, and maintenance personnel signatures.

With just a simple scan using WeChat's "Scan" feature, the safety status and relevant information of the Cangzhou Water Supply and Drainage Company's Yangcheng Reservoir are fully displayed. The application of inspection QR codes effectively links inspection and maintenance processes, truly achieving "face-to-face" management and significantly improving the efficiency and standard of safety management.
