New Construction Site Safety Management Initiative: Safety Helmet QR Codes

The Qujing Maintenance Project Department of Yunling Construction Company has affixed QR codes to the safety helmets of 39 maintenance workers on the Qusheng Expressway. This marks the official promotion and implementation phase of QR codes on safety helmets, adding a new measure to Yunling Construction Company's construction site safety management.

These small QR codes contain a series of important information about maintenance workers, including their names, teams, job types, ID numbers, contact numbers, emergency contact numbers, safety education upon entry, job risk notifications, and entry dates. By scanning the QR code with a mobile phone, details such as name, ID number, and job type become immediately visible. The "one person, one code" system serves as an "identity card" for each maintenance worker and allows for dynamic updates on the QR code platform, including information such as safety technical briefings and education and training records.

The innovative application of QR code technology to establish a "one helmet, one code" system for workers is a new initiative by the project department in response to the safety management requirements of the Yunnan Communications Investment Group. It also represents a preliminary achievement in implementing the "Safe Transportation" innovation case. In the next step, the project department will fully promote and implement this measure across all project sites, aiming for refined management to further enhance safety management levels.
